My Countdown

Every time you call I’ll ask you where you’ve been and any word you say I can always spin. You can count on me to turn this whole thing upside down. That’s why, but I can wear this crown. Maybe i would become a mermaid...
I would live in the swirling blue-green currents, doing exotic underwater dances for the fish, kissed by sea anemones, caressed by seaweed shawls. I would have a dolphin friend and he would have merry eyes and thick flesh of a god. My fingernails would be tiny shells and my skin would be like jade with light shining through it. I would never have to come back up.

i am INEXISTENT, but in the eyes of those who understand, i EXIST. i am EVIL, but to people who learned to dig deep within me, i became the definition of GOOD. i am NUMB, but to a few whom i learned to like and trust, i became the most SENSITIVE person they ever knew. i am SIMPLE yet COMPLEX. to the world i am NOTHING, but to the lives i've touched, i may be EVERYTHING. in whatever way you may accept me, i'd still be WHO I AM.
